The Huskers came away with a huge win on the field Saturday, and finished the weekend with another big win in the recruiting game.

Deiontae Watts, a defensive tackle from Plano, Texas, announced his commitment via Twitter this earlier afternoon. Watts had offers from a plethora of other major universities, including Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Oklahoma and UCLA.

According to Rivals.com, the 6'3, 305-pound defensive lineman is a three-star caliber recruit. Watts' commitment will help add depth to a defensive line that has dealt with attrition over the past season.

Watts took his official visit to Nebraska for Saturday's game against Oregon.
